More Things I Need

I'm feeling much better since I had surgery yet still bored out of my mind because I can't really leave the house by myself yet. So, what better excuse for some blogging about all the infomercials I saw on TV while I was all laid up and crippled? A whole month's worth, are you ready?

I vaguely remember seeing the ad for the following product on TV at some point. Just before my mom and I left for the store (the day after my surgery, I know. . . amazing) I was telling her that when I was pregnant with Journey we had a toy robot arm that I used to use to pick things up so I didn't have to bend over. Well, guess what I spied at Wal-Mart right next to the Ped Egg (another amazing product). The Gopher! It is the perfect gift for all your friends that have had back surgery people. No lifting, twisting, or bending for six weeks? No problem! This thing can pick up crumbs off the floor. I'm not even lying. This product is my new best friend.

Another infomercial product my mom got me (thanks mom!) is The Shark Mop. This was on my list too. I watched my mom use it on my floors (no bending or lifting, remember?) and it does an amazing job.

Have you seen Cindy Crawford lately? Woman doesn't look like she has aged a minute in about a decade. Well, apparently it is all due to this amazing serum that some doctor guy in France developed from a freaky super melon that grows there. Since only super rich and famous people can afford to go to France for their dermatological needs, Cindy has kindly developed a skin care line that works exactly like the serum the France dude came up with. Meaningful Beauty . I need it. Because this aging thing is not working for me.

Malibu Pilates I need this. I am drawn to anything pilates. Have I ever taken classes? No. I've always wanted to though. This chair looks like it wouldn't take up much room. I'm sure I wouldn't put my back out again if I had this!

Cricut Expression I am not crafty. AT ALL. Really. I'm sure this machine would make me crafty though. Just the link is not enough. You must see the commercial because this thing can do amazing things. It is a Provo Craft product.

Leg Magic I've wanted this one for a long time too.

Shamwow This one is bound to be so fun I'll want to clean all the time.

I forgot to mention two other products I own(ed) because of the infomercial:

Mighty Putty Haven't used it yet. I'm afraid I'll do it wrong and jack up the item I need to use it on.

Space Bags I had these and they really worked quite well. The only problem is that they tear more easily than advertised. The new cube bag looks awesome, so I think I might need them again.

Space bags are awesome...except one that I bought won't stay deflated...but the others are great. I'm glad you're doing better. Hopefully, recovery is quick so that you can get out for some great christmas deals.

I haven't even heard of half of these! You are certainly up on your infomercials. The only one that I can write a testimonial for is the Super Putty stuff. It works, but watch out for the stink!

The ped egg is amazing but, it is only worth it if Aniston comes with it she loves to use it she says mom do you want me to fix your feet? I think i got the best ped egg ever... Boy did you ever catch up on you infomercials.

I have the Shark mop, too. I used it yesterday, right before I gave my kids dinner. Bad idea. I almost cried when Ty did the windshield-wiper effect on the high chair and got chicken salad all over the floor. I always have to wait to mop until the kids are in bed so nobody messes up my freshly-steamed floor. I really want that Shark hand-held steamer thing, but I don't want to cough up the money.

What does the Ped Egg do, exactly? I am guessing since I don't know, I don't need it. My feet are actually really smooth and have no cracks. For real. Not being sarcastic.

Christy,

You must never go barefoot, and you must not have inherited dad's feet. It scrapes off the nasty dead cracked skin. Mom introduced me to it (but I don't remember seeing her with cracked feet). I was totally skeptical, but it works really well.

Elise, Drake loves to Ped Egg my feet too. We should enjoy it while we can before they realize that giving your mom a pedi is gross and not cool.

Bobbi,

These lists don't even scratch the surface of my infomercial knowledge. I just don't remember the names of the other products I have swimming in my head, especially since I am sometimes half asleep when I watch them.

Rochelle,

I agree. I totally need to get more Space Bags. Then I'll probably need to buy stuff to put in them too.
